About me:
"For when 'I'm fine' doesn't feel true anymore."
Is life starting to feel like a heavy performance? You’ve likely become an expert at "pushing through," staying busy, and keeping it all under the surface. But lately, that toll is getting harder to ignore. Whether it’s a nagging sense of anxiety, feeling disconnected from those closest to you, or simply being tired of feeling "stuck" in the same old patterns, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m Adrian, an integrative therapist. I help people move away from just "getting by" and toward a life that feels lighter, more authentic, and genuinely connected.
How We Work Together:
Therapy with me isn't about being analysed from a distance or being told how to live your life. It’s a collaborative partnership. We’ll create a space where you can finally drop the "mask" and unpack what’s been building up.
My approach is twofold:
- The "Why": We look at the patterns and past experiences that still echo in your present.
- The "How": We build practical tools to help you stay grounded, manage your emotions, and regain your confidence day-to-day.
- A Focus on Men’s Identity & Mental Health
While I work with all individuals, I have a deep interest in supporting men navigating the pressures of modern life. Many of my clients feel they have to "have it all together," yet feel completely disconnected from who they actually are.
Whether you are struggling with body image, sexuality, relationship dynamics, or a general lack of purpose, I provide a judgment-free space to explore vulnerability as a strength. We will find the language for what you’re feeling, moving you away from suppression and toward a more authentic version of yourself.
Areas of Support:
- Breaking the Cycle: Anxiety, depression, and the weight of past trauma
- Relationships: Navigating modern intimacy, identity, and connection
- The Self: Building genuine self-esteem and a positive body image
- Men’s Health: Redefining strength, emotional awareness, and purpose
My Approach:
I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" fix. As an integrative therapist, I blend CBT (practical tools), Psychodynamic Theory (understanding your roots), and Person-Centred Therapy (honouring your unique lived experience). This allows me to adapt my style to exactly what you need in the moment.
I’m a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in line with their ethical framework.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in hospitality and in charitable settings, mentoring and supporting people navigating major life changes, including rehabilitation and reintegration after prison. Those experiences reinforced my belief that no one is beyond help and that meaningful change is always possible with the right support.
