With over 20 years of experience of counselling I am passionate about the effectiveness of Integrative counselling for men. This means I tailor the different counselling approaches to the needs of each individual as no ' one size fits all'. I work with Truma, Abuse, low Self-Esteem, Anger, Anxiety and Depression. I provide a friendly, non judgemental confidential and safe environment to explore and process emotional difficulty. The society we live in today can make it very confusing for men to know their role and process their emotions. There are no wrong emotions and there is always a reason for the way you feel. Not knowing how to express these emotions effectively and get your needs met can lead to frustration, guilt and shame , contributing to feeling isolated and out of control. I am here to help work through your emotional difficulties at a pace that suits you, introducing coping strategies if needed. Though there are no guarantees, over the years of being a counsellor I am constantly heartened at how Integrative counselling helps people to find inner peace and clarity and finally see the woods for the trees.
