Leave your preconceptions about therapy and therapists at the next full stop.
Good, now we have a clean slate.
I am human first, therapist second and I may even share some of your struggles. Sure, I’ve got the certificates to back it up, and if you're curious I can share those, however what really matters is our therapeutic relationship.
My approach is tailored to YOU with a very honest, authentic style and the fluffy ‘therapy speak’ is kept to a minimum. Sure, I can be empathic and sit with you in your time of need, but I want it to feel genuine for you.
As I mentioned, I’m human first. I love sport and keeping myself active. I love art, music and being in sunny destinations. I also have a family who I annoy!
So now you know: I am Alexis - but you can, of course, Call Me Al.

I specialise mostly in the support of adults and couples facing challenges like anxiety, anger, ADHD, depression, panic, OCD, grief, self-esteem, self-harm, affairs, and infidelity.
I work especially well with men, drawing on both clinical training and my own experience of learning to face and understand difficult emotions. I know how tough it can be to open up — my approach is honest, grounded, and focused on helping you cut through the shame, pressure, or confusion and actually make progress.
