You are more than your past experiences or the challenges you’re facing right now. Here, you’ll find a space to start making sense of what’s happened, what’s happening now, and where you want to go next.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel uncertain, but seeking support is a strength—not a weakness. It’s a step towards understanding yourself better, gaining clarity, and moving forward in a way that feels right for you.
You might be struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, low self-esteem, feeling trapped, stressed, or experiencing a lack of purpose in life. Or maybe things just don’t feel quite right, and you’re unsure why?
My approached is underpinned by Person-Centred Therapy, which is a research-backed way to foster personal growth, change, and ultimately helping you move forward. Person-Centred Therapy is completely personalised to your individual situation. It hinges on the quality of the therapeutic relationship, which is why I always offer a free session to make sure it's right for you.
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and I hold a PGDip in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Level 7).
As a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I delivered over 50+ hours at Mind in Furness and 50+ hours Carlisle College, before setting up as a private counsellor and psychotherapist in 2025.
I have a range of transferable experiences outside of the counselling room (Founding Men's Counselling Service, running a separate digital business, coaching at a Premier League Football club academy, and working in communities as a youth worker), which can help me connect with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

My passion is helping men through challenging times. I offer counselling and psychotherapy for men in Cumbria (in person), and counselling and psychotherapy for men in the UK (online).
I understand the pressure men face. When I was younger, I struggled in silence and a lack of direction. Like many men, I never considered therapy—it didn’t feel like an option. I had no one to talk to, and life just kept getting harder. Eventually, I reached out for support and everything began to change. My only regret was not reaching out sooner.
Therapy for men doesn’t have to feel clinical or uncomfortable—it can be an important step toward living with more confidence, purpose, and peace of mind. If you are still curious about how we might work together, please visit my website or send me a message on here.
