My focus when counselling is not only to be counsellor, but also to draw upon my experiences as a coach and mentor. My aim is to help you navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.

Whether you are struggling with stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, anger, grief, financial problems, low self esteem, or simply a sense that something isn't quite right, counselling can provide a safe and supportive space to think clearly, talk openly, and explore a way forward.

Many men come to counselling feeling that they need to have all the answers or handle everything themselves. Therapy offers an opportunity to step away from these pressures, gain perspective, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges.

When was the last time someone sat and listened to you for 50 minutes without judging you or having their own agenda?

For many men, that experience is rare. Having a space to be heard, understood and accepted can be both powerful and liberating. All sessions are in strictest confidence.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation either on line or by phone. This gives you the chance to see if I am the right fit for you and also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about counselling.

Once you have booked a full session they are for 50 minutes. They can be face to face in my office in St Albans or if you are further afield or internationally based I can offer online sessions. Sessions can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. I usually suggest we start with four sessions and then we can review how you are feeling before moving on if required.
