The framework of your life has shifted and now you’re trying to figure out where you fit.

For many men, therapy isn’t because everything is falling apart. It’s because you’re exhausted from carrying rules, fear, and “right belief” you no longer recognise as your truth.

If you’ve deconstructed a faith, questioned what you were taught, or started to outgrow the version of yourself you were expected to be, it can bring a very particular kind of isolation.

You might still feel the aftershocks: guilt when you live differently, anxiety that you’re doing it “wrong,” perfectionism as self-protection, and that lingering sense that if you’re not certain, you’ll be punished. And if your family is tied to the old belief system, the struggle gets deeper, especially when you’re trying to parent from something other than rigid, fear-based authority.

I offer warm, collaborative, non-judgemental online counselling across the UK for men navigating religious trauma, deconstruction, and identity rebuild.

Our work isn’t about swapping your old rules for new ones, or fixing you like something broken. It’s about helping you untangle the patterns you learned to survive, understand what still holds power over you, and make space for the life (and relationships) you actually want.

I offer a free 20-minute intro video call so we can see if working together feels like the right fit.
