Many men reach therapy because life feels harder than it should. Work pressure, performance demands, money worries, or burnout can build over time, often alongside a sense that something isn’t quite right, even when things look fine on paper.

I offer a practical, down-to-earth approach to therapy for men who want space to think clearly, understand themselves better, and find a healthier way forward. As a male therapist, I understand the pressure many men feel to cope alone or “power through,” and how difficult it can be to step back and ask for support.

Clients often arrive looking for tools or techniques to manage stress more effectively, and this can be a useful place to start. Over time, therapy often helps uncover the deeper emotional drivers behind those pressures, supporting greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and a more balanced relationship with internal demands.

I aim to offer an open and honest space where you can speak without judgement or expectation. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to, and no agenda to fix you. Instead, we work together to make sense of what’s going on and support meaningful, sustainable change.

I offer sessions online or in person at Riverside Wellbeing Centre in Whaley Bridge, and provide a free 15-minute introductory call to see whether working together feels like a good fit.
