Many people come to therapy after spending a long time trying to cope alone. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why things don’t feel quite right, This can be the case even if, on the surface, life looks fine.
I offer a calm, supportive space to slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and begin working through it.
I come from a creative and academic background, with many years’ experience supporting people in university mental-health services before moving into private practice. My work has included supporting clients with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, identity questions, and major life transitions.
I also work with men who may be new to therapy and unsure what to expect. Many men I see arrive at a point where they feel they have nowhere else to turn, having tried to manage on their own for as long as possible.
My approach is grounded, practical, and non-judgemental. I focus on helping therapy feel clear, purposeful, and accessible, while building a relationship that feels safe and respectful. Over time, this allows deeper work to develop naturally.
If you’re considering therapy but unsure whether it’s right for you, you’re welcome to get in touch. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.
