I offer counselling in a warm, grounded and non-judgemental space where you can slow down and make sense of what’s going on in your life.
Many of the people I work with are young adults and men who feel pressure to “get it right” but are quietly questioning themselves. You might be navigating identity, direction, relationships, performance anxiety, or a sense of feeling out of step with others. You may find yourself asking, “Am I handling this properly?” or “Why does this feel harder than it should?”
Alongside my counselling training, I bring experience from higher education and student support, which means I understand the pressures facing people in their twenties and beyond. I also have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, including those exploring ADHD, autism, or longstanding feelings of being different or misunderstood.
I also have experience in grief and bereavement counselling and offer open-ended therapy tailored to your needs.
I offer a free 15-minute phone conversation as a non-judgemental opportunity to explore what is bringing you to therapy and to see whether working together feels right. It is a chance to build trust and ask any questions before committing to sessions.
If we begin therapy, our first session is about understanding what has brought you here and what you would like from the work. There is no pressure to go anywhere you are not ready to go. We set the pace together.
I am queer-friendly and sex positive, and welcome clients from all backgrounds.
I am an registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (no. 418079), an accredited registrant member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (no. NCPS4150) and a trainee member of the UK Counsel for Psychotherapy (no. 2011189962).
I am a final year student on a 4 year part-time MSc degree course in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am training at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Institute in Nottingham and this MSc award is validated by Staffordshire University.
I specialise in working with men and male issues relating to family, relationships and parenting.
I also love working with neurodivergent clients and I have experience in helping people with ADAH and autism.
I am queer-friendly and sex positive.
I welcome the spiritual and existential in therapy - I can help you with the Big Questions such as "What's the point of life?" and "What happens when I die?"
I have 10 years experience working with students both in the UK and abroad. And I have experience helping people with grief and bereavement.
