Are you often told you're too much? Too loud? Like you don't quite fit the mould of what a man's "supposed" to be?
Do you find it hard to put what's going on for you into words, or feel like nobody's really listening when you try?
I've been there myself, feeling too much, too different, not quite understood. So I made it my work to help people move through it.
I'm Hasan. I work relationally, using Transactional Analysis, to explore the patterns underneath and build real, lasting change, not just talk about it.
I also specialise in working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, having spent 14 years as a sign language interpreter before training as a therapist. I've seen up close how much it costs to spend your life translating yourself just so other people can keep up.
I know how daunting it can be to reach out in the first place. You're already doing something a lot of men never let themselves do. That's why I've made it my mission to build a space that feels safe, genuine and empowering from the very first conversation. Whatever's brought you here, on your own, in a relationship, or as part of the Deaf community, there's space for you in this work.
How We Work Together:
My approach blends warmth and honesty: real talk, not just nodding along. Using Transactional Analysis, we'll explore the patterns, relationships, and choices underneath what's going on, so change actually sticks rather than just easing the surface. I believe the relationship between us is where the real work happens, and I'm genuinely invested in seeing you make the shifts you want in your life.
I work with people navigating stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, discrimination, and questions around identity: culture, race, sexuality. Together we'll unpack what's weighing on you, work out what you actually want, and build the confidence to go after it.
I also bring creative tools into sessions, such as gemstones, colour, drawing, and meditation, for anyone who finds it easier to think things through with something to hold or look at, rather than just words. These are entirely optional and there if you want them.
Support for Your Relationship:
If it's a relationship you want support with, whether that's communication that's broken down, conflict that keeps circling back, distance that's crept in, or a big transition you're navigating together, I offer couples work too. I provide a balanced, non-judgemental space for both of you to be heard, and help you understand the patterns between you so you can make conscious choices about where you go from here. I welcome couples of all backgrounds, orientations, and relationship structures.
Working with Deaf Clients:
With 14 years as a sign language interpreter and Level 6 British Sign Language, I offer fully accessible therapy for D/deaf individuals and those with hearing loss. No interpreter needed, nothing lost in translation.
Getting Started:
I offer in-person sessions and online therapy across the UK.
Not sure if we're the right fit? I offer a free 15-minute consultation, no pressure, just a chance to talk about what's brought you here and see if we click.
Sessions typically run 50 minutes, weekly, though I'm flexible on pace where needed.
