Do you feel like something needs to change?
I offer therapy for adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure where to turn, helping them to find steadier ground and reconnect with themselves. Maybe something specific has happened such as a loss or a big change, or maybe you just don’t feel like yourself any more. It could even be a feeling that’s been with you for a long time, as if something’s never quite felt right. It may be something you have never been able to talk about.
Whatever’s going on, you don’t have to work it out on your own. I’m here to listen, without judgement, and help you make sense of things in a way that feels manageable and real.
How counselling can help
Counselling gives you a confidential space to talk things through at your own pace. Together, we can look at what’s going on in your life and how it’s affecting you. It might help you to feel lighter, more able to trust yourself and more confident to just be you, in your relationships, at work or in your own head.
Counselling is different from talking to friends or family. With loved ones, you might find yourself holding back or feeling as if you have to 'stay strong'. In counselling, the focus is entirely on you. You don’t have to worry about other people's reactions. It's your time to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, with support that is completely non-judgemental. Over time, therapy can help you feel lighter, more confident, and more at ease in your everyday life.
What I offer
I offer one-to-one counselling for adults in a calm, confidential space where you can talk about whatever’s on your mind. My approach is grounded in empathy, honesty and respect. I’ll listen carefully and respond thoughtfully, not with quick fixes or advice but by helping you explore what’s going on and what might help.
This is your time and we’ll use it in a way that works for you, whether that’s talking through what’s happening now or exploring where your feelings may have originated. I’ll offer ideas or insights when they feel useful, but the focus is always on what you need.
Everything we discuss stays between us. Sessions are available both in-person and online, giving you the freedom to choose what works best for you.
A bit about me
I'm a warm, down-to-earth counsellor who’s easy to talk to, but I’ll also be honest with you when it matters. I believe counselling works best when we can talk openly, even about the hard stuff. I won’t just sit and nod; I’ll gently challenge you when it’s helpful, but always with care and respect. I firmly believe it’s never too late to make a change. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck or just unsure where to start, counselling can help you make sense of things and find a way forward.
I have a particular interest in the emotional impact of parenting, whatever stage you're at. I also work with people navigating complex family dynamics, such as blended families, estrangement from parents or communication difficulties. I have experience supporting clients through baby loss, and I often work with people who have had difficult past experiences, often in childhood.
Clients often say I really get them, and that’s what I work hardest at. When you feel deeply understood, it can be easier to open up and talk about things you might never have said out loud before. I take this work seriously. Therapy is a big investment, emotionally, financially and in terms of time, and I fully respect that. You can expect me to be consistent, committed and completely present.
More than anything, I want you to feel safe enough to be yourself in our sessions. I believe that real change happens when you’re able to speak honestly, without fear of judgement. That’s how self-confidence grows and where a real sense of inner peace can start to take shape.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and my work adheres to their ethical framework. Additional Training
TA101 Certificate (Transactional Analysis)
An internationally recognised introduction to Transactional Analysis, exploring communication patterns, relationship dynamics and the ways we relate to ourselves and others. This training has deepened my understanding of client behaviour and supports my work in helping people make meaningful change.
Trauma-Informed Approach
If you’ve been through difficult or overwhelming experiences, you might still feel the effects in your day-to-day life, perhaps feeling on edge, anxious or disconnected. I’ve trained extensively in trauma-informed practice, which means I’ll always work with care and at your pace. We’ll focus first on helping you feel safe and steady, finding simple ways to manage overwhelming feelings before you choose whether to look back at any painful memories.
My approach is gentle and respectful, with an emphasis on safety, trust and choice. Together, we’ll take things step by step so you can feel more grounded, supported and able to move forward in your own way.
I hold professional indemnity insurance and I am DBS checked.
