Hi, I'm Leo.

If you're reading this, you might have been sitting on it for a while. Maybe weeks, maybe months, maybe longer. Something's not right; you might not even be able to put your finger on exactly what it is, but you know things can't carry on the way they are. That took something to get here. So let's talk about what happens next.

I've spent decades in rooms with men, from the military to later leadership and mental health roles, and I've seen how far you can get trying to push through on your own and where that approach eventually runs out. That's a lot of what brought me into this work. What working with me looks like.

This is two men sitting down and taking a straightforward look at what's going on. You might be dealing with anxiety, anger, stress, relationship problems, grief, trauma, work pressure, or just a general sense that something's off. You don't need a diagnosis or a label. I know that for a lot of men, the message has always been to suck it up and get on with it. I grew up with that too. I've also had my own share of hard chapters, including navigating a major life transition of my own, so this isn't something I only understand from the other side of the room. I've learned through my own life, and through working with hundreds of people, that the men who actually sort things out are the ones who are honest enough with themselves to say, "I need to deal with this."

Whatever you bring stays between us. That matters more than it might sound; a lot of men worry that talking means being seen differently, or judged. It doesn't happen here.

I currently have space for new clients. I offer short-term and open-ended work, and sessions are available in person at my therapy room in Worthing (free parking) or online and by phone. Not sure if this is for you?

Drop me a message and we can have a free introductory chat. No commitment, no pressure, just a conversation to see if we'd be a good fit. You've already done the hard part by getting this far. The rest is just a conversation. A bit about me

I spent my early years working in the military, then moved into leadership roles in people development and HR across a range of organisations. I was also Managing Director of a forensic mental health organisation, which drew me much more directly into therapeutic work.

I retrained as a counsellor because I kept seeing the same thing: men who could have been helped much earlier if someone had made therapy feel like a realistic option rather than something that wasn't for them. I'm a registered member of the BACP and NCPS, I hold a degree in humanistic counselling and a Level 6 diploma in supervision, and I also tutor trainee counsellors.
