Hi, I'm Lisa. If something in your life feels off right now and you're not quite sure how to talk about it or where to start, that's okay. You don't need to have it figured out before getting in touch.
I'm a counsellor based in Kent, and I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like they're just going through the motions. I have particular experience working with:
- Anxiety and depression
- Anger management
- Addiction
- Bereavement and loss
- Neurodivergence, particularly ADHD and autism
- Sexual abuse
- Loss of confidence and major life changes
Whatever's brought you here, you don't need to fit neatly into a category. If something feels hard and you need a space to talk, that's enough. A lot of people find that having someone truly listen, not to fix or advise, but just to understand, helps things feel clearer and lighter than they expected.
I offer sessions in person, by phone, or online, so distance is never a barrier.
If you'd like to get a feel for what working together might be like, I offer a free 20-30 minute chat with no pressure to continue. Feel free to reach out whenever you're ready.
I am qualified in person-centred counselling (Level 4 Diploma). This means that I want to offer you a space where you won't be judged, where every part of you will be welcome (even if you find to accept those parts of you yourself) and where I will turn up as myself, not someone who is trying to fix you or change you.
I have additional qualifications in sexual abuse, suicidal awareness, autism and body-based therapies.
I have worked with agencies around Kent as well as being a Listener with Samaritans for three years and working with them in a men's prison.
Some of the areas I have a special interest in are:
Addiction Anger management Anxiety Bereavement Depression Neurodivergence (particularly ADHD and autism) Sexual abuse
