I'm a qualified intergative counsellor accredited with NCPS, practising in Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, just outside of Cardiff. My main area of expertise is working with people with mental health struggles around parenthood. This may be during or post pregnancy, as well as other life altering events such as baby and infant loss and birth trauma. Whilst there is alot of recognition for the mothers in this area, it's unfortunately not the same for fathers, and I'd like to be able to be a part of changing the stigma that's placed upon partners on this journey into parenthood and those often difficult times. I can offer a safe and free from judgement space for men to explore their experiences of parenthood, loss and trauma and break down those societal expectations that he thinks he doesn't have a right to feel.
