Taking the first step into therapy can feel unfamiliar, especially if you have been used to managing things on your own. Many of the men I work with have grown up believing they should stay strong, push through, and keep difficult feelings to themselves. I offer face to face therapy for men in Shoreditch, Bethnal Green and Romford, providing a calm and non-judgemental space where you can open up. I also offer online sessions where required, as I appreciate how busy life can be.
Many men arrive feeling not good enough, unheard, or disconnected from their own voice. A big part of my work involves exploring how early experiences and cultural expectations have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others, and how we become stuck in these patterns.
I have worked with men from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, from young adults to those later in life navigating significant transitions. Whether you are facing relationship difficulties, low mood, anger, stress, identity questions, or a general sense that something feels off, therapy can offer clarity and direction. Before retraining as a counsellor, I spent many years in the corporate world, so I understand the pressures of performance, responsibility, and appearing as though everything is under control.
My approach is relational and empathetic, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within a safe and trusting connection. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call so we can briefly connect and see how it feels to speak. You do not need to prepare anything.
Therapy moves at a pace that feels manageable, and the work will only go as far as you feel ready to explore.

I know life can become overwhelming at times, and looking for a counsellor, especially as a man, can be a daunting thought, especially when you may already be feeling anxious, or so full to capacity that you are finding it challenging to make any decisions right now. You may have had counselling in the past, or it might be be your first time, but you’re here now, and reaching out is the first step.
It's important to feel you are with the right therapist, so I'm happy to offer you an initial free 15 min telephone call, to get a sense of what is troubling you right now and we can take it from there. Send me a message or text to arrange. It's free! You are under no obligation to go any further after that call.
I have supported clients through a range of challenges, trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, loss, anger, depression, attachment and relationships, OCD, self-harm and more. Together, we will go on a journey to get a feel of what is it like to be you in your world. Bringing awareness to any previous experiences that may be affecting your current life, which may be leaving you feeling stuck, both mentally and physically. Sometimes when we react, we may notice that we overreact as its not just what's happening right now, there is other stuff happening underneath and we just can explain it. Maybe you are feeling sad, or at a stage of life where you could use some support navigating changes through health, relationships, lifestyle, or your environment and finding it a challenge being fulfilled with the present.
Having an integrative approach, means l and can draw on different tools and techniques from my training, and together we will tailor a bespoke approach to best suit YOUR needs. I will support you feel at ease, seen, and held, as we explore your emotions and challenges, to empower you to bring about change or self-acceptance. I understand location is important and having a counsellor nearby can support our busy lives, so I can offer face to face sessions, in Spitalfields, Bethnal Green and Harold Wood. I am also open to working online, giving that flexibility if it works better for you.
