My name is Semyon Polikovsky, and I am a certified Gestalt therapist. Twelve years ago, psychotherapy entered my life, profoundly revealing its immense potential through my own journey.

The past five years have seen me nurturing a private practice dedicated to restoring ease, elegance, and fresh perspectives in those areas where my clients find themselves repeatedly circling or stuck in impasses.

My method is grounded in the dynamic principles of field-oriented Gestalt therapy, firmly supported by modern clinical and scientific insights. My role extends beyond helping clients adjust habitual behaviors—I invite them into a deeper exploration of their inner world, perceptions, and embodied experiences. It’s precisely here, at this depth, that transformative shifts and holistic healing unfold. My practice places particular importance on bodily awareness, stemming from my belief that true change emerges through the body, beyond words alone.

Finally, despite the seriousness and intensity of therapeutic work and the heaviness of issues addressed, I believe it’s essential to create space for playfulness and creativity—after all, these qualities are what ultimately make us truly alive.

Having completed my four-year Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy in Moscow Institute of Gestalt and Psychodrama, I am always on the lookout for new ways to develop my skills and keep learning. I am lucky enough to study with and get regular supervision from some of the best psychotherapy professionals in the world, including those at the Manchester Gestalt Center, New York Gestalt Institute, London Gestalt Center and French Gestalt Institute. I am a full clinical member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and a qualified member at GPTI (Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute). I am also a member of Stemning Club, Oslo.
