About Me

Hello, perhaps you're finding things difficult at the moment, feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts and emotions, or trying to make sense of something happening in your life. Maybe you've been thinking about counselling for a while but aren't quite sure where to start. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that you don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

I believe that every person's story is unique, and our work together will always be centred around you. I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, valued and accepted for who you are. Building a strong and trusting relationship is at the heart of my work, as I believe feeling comfortable and understood can help create the space for healing, growth and understanding.

My Experience

Throughout my professional career, I have worked with people aged 18–50 from a variety of backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. I have supported people experiencing difficulties including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, identity, self-worth, burnout and loss.

Growing up in a Greek family and community has also given me personal experience of the challenges that can come with cultural differences and expectations. This has helped shape my understanding of difference and diversity, and the ways in which our backgrounds, families and cultures can influence how we see ourselves and experience the world around us.

Whether you're navigating personal difficulties, exploring your identity, or trying to understand patterns in your life, I recognise that your experiences are your own. You don't need to fit into a particular category or have one specific reason for seeking counselling to begin.

My Approach

I work integratively, combining person-centred and psychodynamic theories. For me, this means creating a supportive therapeutic relationship where you feel able to guide our sessions, explore what matters to you and work at a pace that feels comfortable.

You are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you what to do or how you should feel, but to walk alongside you as we explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences together.

As our relationship develops, we can begin to explore not only what's happening in your life now, but also whether past experiences may be influencing how you feel, think or relate to others in the present. Sometimes, we may uncover feelings or patterns that you weren't previously aware of. This can offer opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

There is no expectation to share everything straight away, and you don't need to find the perfect words to explain how you're feeling. Our work will be shaped around you, allowing you the time and space to explore things in a way that feels right. Counselling is a journey, and I will be alongside you every step of the way.

A Little More About Me

I was born and raised in Cheltenham, where I initially trained as a barber and spent ten years working in the profession. Although this gave me the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life on a daily basis, I always felt a strong passion for helping others and found this incredibly rewarding.

Alongside this, being active has always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I played football, rugby, jujitsu and water polo, and nowadays I enjoy regular walks and going to the gym. Looking after my own mental wellbeing is something I value, and mental health has long been a subject that fascinates me.

Over time, my passion for helping others, combined with my interest in mental health and the many things that can affect it, led me towards a career in counselling.

Taking the First Step

Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, particularly if you're unsure what to expect. You don't need to know exactly what you want to talk about, and you don't have to navigate everything on your own.

If you're considering starting counselling or have questions about my practice, please feel free to get in touch. I'd be happy to hear from you and discuss how we might work together.

My qualifications and memberships
