About Me
Reaching out for support isn’t easy, especially when you’re used to keeping things to yourself or just getting on with it. But you don’t have to go through things alone.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where we can talk openly about what’s going on for you, at your pace. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just want to make sense of things, I’ll work with you to understand what you’re experiencing and help you find a way forward that works for you.
I offer counselling by video, phone, email or instant chat (text) - so you can talk from anywhere that feels safe and private.
How I Work
I’m an integrative humanistic counsellor, which means I use a blend of approaches tailored to your needs, with a focus on respect, honesty and collaboration. I won’t tell you what to do or give you a one-size-fits-all answer. Instead, we’ll work together to help you better understand yourself, your situation, and what you need.
I specialise in working with:
Late-discovered neurodivergent (ND) adults, including those exploring the possibility they might be autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent
Chronic illness and hidden disabilities, including chronic pain, fatigue, autoimmune conditions
Those who are navigating life transitions, burnout, or identity questions
I have lived experience of autism and chronic illness, and I’ve raised children with additional support needs in a neurodiverse household. I know how hard it can be to feel misunderstood or like you're constantly having to adapt to systems that weren’t built for you.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over 15 years supporting vulnerable people in crisis, so I'm comfortable talking with people who are facing real, difficult situations.
I also have experience supporting clients with stress, anxiety, anger, gender identity, masculinity, grief and loss, relationships and parenting/co-parenting.
Group Therapy for Late-Discovered Autism
I run online group therapy for late/self-diagnosed autistic adults. The group runs for 8 weeks, with weekly 90-minute sessions (max 6 people per group, £30 per session). We cover topics like:
- Understanding autism and identity Masking and burnout Emotions and communication * Self-acceptance and coping strategies
It’s a chance to connect with others, feel less alone, and explore what being autistic means for you.
If you’re interested in joining, get in touch to arrange a short pre-group chat.
