Hi, I’m Tim Campbell. Welcome to my counselling profile.
I work as a person-centered counsellor from my garden studio — a quiet private space surrounded by wildflowers, old trees, and a beautifully kept garden. It’s a place where people can breathe out and slow down.
I’m not your typical counsellor. I’m a grounded, normal bloke. I’ve been a scaffolder, soldier, wagon driver — and now I sit with people when they’re lost, angry, numb, or just tired of pretending everything’s okay.
I’ve worked in a trauma-informed way with people who’ve lived through abuse, rape, childhood sexual abuse, and other forms of trauma. I also work at a local college, where I support young people navigating anxiety, depression, identity, and the pressures of growing up.
On top of that, I have a personal and professional interest in psychedelic integration — I’m currently enrolled on the Clerkenwell course, working towards being able to offer safe, ethical space for people wanting to make sense of psychedelic experiences in the future. (Just to be clear: I don’t provide or facilitate psychedelics — my focus is on supporting people in reflecting on experiences they’ve already had.)
I’ve been through my own battles: addiction, grief, guilt, trauma. I know what it’s like to carry things you don’t always have the words for. That’s why I’m here — not to “fix” you, but to sit with you while we figure things out together.
Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy
Registered Member of BACP
I’ve worked with adults and young people in a range of settings, including a drug and alcohol rehab Centre in Dehradun, India, a further education college, and a charity supporting those affected by trauma.
Alongside my formal training, I bring lived experience of struggle, change, and growth. I know what it’s like to sit on both sides of the therapy room, and that gives me a grounded, compassionate approach.
