Hello, I’m Warren. I support people who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or unresolved trauma. Many of the individuals I work with are looking to make meaningful changes in their lives or careers but feel held back by low self-esteem, constant worry, or patterns of behaviour that no longer serve them. I also help clients dealing with phobias or obsessive-compulsive behaviours that impact their daily routines. My focus is on helping you move towards greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being by working with you to achieve your personal goals.
My therapeutic approach draws on well-established, research-backed methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). These frameworks are designed to help you explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, equipping you with tools to shift unhelpful thinking patterns, boost resilience, and cope more effectively with life’s challenges.
I believe that therapy should be goal-oriented, collaborative, and as efficient as possible. CBT and REBT offer structured approaches that promote positive change—without requiring a long-term commitment to therapy. We’ll set the pace together, keeping your goals at the centre of the process.
When appropriate, I also offer EMDR therapy to support clients dealing with trauma or distressing memories. EMDR involves guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help the brain process and resolve emotional blocks. This can be particularly effective for those living with PTSD, flashbacks, or unresolved emotional pain. When used in the right context, EMDR can be a deeply healing experience.
In addition to these approaches, I may integrate elements of mindfulness and hypnotherapy when they’re likely to enhance the therapeutic outcome. Every client is different, so the work we do together will be tailored to your unique circumstances and goals.
I also have particular experience supporting current and former members of the armed forces and emergency services. I’m aware of the unique pressures and challenges these roles can involve, and I bring that understanding to our work together.
Starting therapy can feel like a big leap—especially if it’s your first time. I aim to create a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and free from pressure. If you’d like to talk about what’s going on or explore how therapy might help, I’m here for a friendly, informal conversation.
I offer face-to-face sessions in the Bedford area and also work with clients online across the UK.
My main therapeutic training was at the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies in London where I now lecture on REBT. I also trained in EMDR at the EMDR Centre in London. I hold a Bachelors degree in Social Science, including Psychology and a Masters degree in Leadership and Change.
I spent 30 years as a solicitor in London, leading professional services businesses. I understand the pressures of running businesses and operating in high stakes environments. Several years ago those pressures led me to have a breakdown. That experience and the therapy that I received resulted in me re-evaluating my life, giving up the law and becoming a therapist. I have never been happier.
I am an Approved Therapist with Anxiety UK. I do a lot of work with members of the Architects Benevolent Society and the London Ambulance Service. I have worked with Armed Forces veterans, including special forces and treat trauma experienced either through one off events or developmentally over a period of time. The vast majority of my clients suffer with anxiety, depression and/or anger issues. I help them deal with the fallout from these which can include poor sleep or decreased sexual performance or libido, a problem that affects men in particular.
I find that it helps that I have suffered from many of the problems that male clients bring to me. I know how awkward it can feel so work hard at putting my clients at ease from the very beginning.
Most of the men I support are struggling with anxiety, low mood, or anger that’s getting in the way of how they want to live. I work with men who are dealing with the effects of trauma—whether that’s from a single overwhelming event or from long-term, ongoing stress, often starting in early life.
These challenges can show up in all kinds of ways: poor sleep, feeling constantly on edge, difficulty focusing, or noticing changes in things like sex drive or performance. These issues are more common than you might think—and they’re nothing to be ashamed of. Together, we’ll work through the underlying causes and start building practical ways to feel more in control, more connected, and more like yourself again.
