I’m a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and counsellor based in East Ayrshire. I work with men of all ages, offering a straightforward, confidential space to talk things through, whether you're struggling with something specific or just feeling stuck.

I have particular experience working with:

Men facing stress, anxiety or low mood

LGBTQIA+ individuals

Neurodivergent clients (ADHD, autism)

Teenagers, adults, and those balancing work, family or identity pressures

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you’re just not yourself. Whatever’s going on, we’ll work together to make sense of it at your pace, without pressure or judgement.

What brings men come to therapy and what we can work together on:

Anxiety, low confidence, or overthinking

Stress, burnout, or trouble switching off

Low mood, anger, or feeling numb

OCD or intrusive thoughts

Family or relationship difficulties

Trauma, abuse, or self-harm

Sleep problems and exhaustion

I use a mix of CBT, counselling and person-centred approaches which are tailored to what’s most helpful for you. No two people are the same, so we’ll keep things flexible and honest.

I’ve also done further training in areas like burnout, sleep and dreams, OCD, pregnancy and loss, and abuse. I also have a certificate in Adoption Counselling.

Appointments are available online or in person.

If you're considering therapy, even if you're not 100% sure, it’s okay to reach out and ask a few questions first. I'm here to help you make sense of things and move forward in a way that works for you.
