Perhaps you are feeling the pressure at work? Maybe it's hard to switch off at night? Too many worries about your responsibilities going round in your mind. Or maybe you can't quite put your finger on what is wrong. You just know that whatever you try, you simply seem to end up back in the same place.
You don't have to carry that alone.
I have worked with a lot of men who arrive not knowing how to explain what's going on. They often know something isn't quite right, but the feelings are hard to name.
A lot of us grew up being told to just get on with it, don't make a fuss, push it down and it'll go away. And for a while, that works.
Until it doesn't.
I offer a calm space where you can start unpicking and discovering those pushed down feelings. I'm not here to tell you what to do or hand you lists of answers. I listen, I notice and when the time is right, I'll gently challenge you. The goal is to bring to the surface what has been buried for so long. Not to react to it, but so that you can choose what you want to do next.

I am a fully qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and a Masters in Psychoanalytic Studies.
What does this mean?
It means that you lead the sessions, you bring the issues you would like to talk about and together we stand back and check in with your life. It doesn't mean I will give advice, or tell you what to do.
I have worked with a counselling agency for a number of years before going into private practice, helping people with their anxiety, their work stresses, people who struggle to understand their feelings.
I have experienced helping people from all walks of life who struggle to understand themselves and so have spent many years stuck in the same cycle of behaviour. Doing the same thing again and again.
Together we have pinpointed these behaviours, using our time in sessions to challenge old behaviours so that we can look at different methods, try them out and see if they work.
My clients come away feeling confident that they can take on life in a different way and they choose to do things differently.
Sessions last for 50 minutes, and they will be online, meaning they can fit in with your day. Making them convenient and accessible for you.
