Hello! My name is Gurchehn, and I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I work with men experiencing anxiety, depression, low mood, and relationship challenges. I believe that life can feel like a rollercoaster, and while the ups and downs can be difficult, they also hold the potential for growth and change.

I was born and raised in a traditional Punjabi household, which has given me a personal understanding of cultural expectations and limitations. My passion for supporting and empowering others began while working as a caseworker with carers, and it has shaped my commitment to counselling today.

In therapy, my focus is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences and strengthen your inner resources. I work integratively, as I believe not one size fits all, I draw upon different approaches to suit your needs, while paying attention to how identity, culture, community, race, and religion can influence our sense of self.

My aim is to help you heal from past pain, navigate current struggles, and move towards the life you want to build. I understand the stigma that still exists around men’s mental health, and how fear, shame, or judgement can hold us back from reaching out. Taking the first step isn’t easy, but it can be the start of real change.
