A welcoming, non-judgemental space for men.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, particularly if you’re used to dealing with things on your own. My aim is to provide a calm, welcoming and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is going on, without fear of being judged or having to have all the answers.
I work with men experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, work pressure, relationship difficulties, conflict, affairs and relationship breakdowns. I also support people through life transitions, loss and grief, difficulties with self-esteem and confidence, and addiction.
Sometimes there may be a clear reason for seeking counselling, while at other times you may simply know that things don’t feel right or that you’re struggling to cope. You don’t have to wait until things reach crisis point before asking for support.
My approach is warm, honest and collaborative. I will work alongside you at your pace, helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find ways to move forward. I work with individuals and couples, including couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, affairs, loss of trust or relationship breakdown.
I also welcome and offer an LGBTQIA+ affirming and respectful space for individuals and couples from these communities.
