Are you trying to move forward but still feel stuck or disconnected?
On the outside you might look fine, but internally you might feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure of your direction. Self-doubt, overthinking, or a sense that something isn't quite right can slowly build underneath everyday life.
You may have reached a point where you've been trying to cope for so long that you lose connection with what you need or how you feel.
Therapy gives you space to slow down, make sense of what's happening and understand what may be keeping you held back, without pressure or judgement.
I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship between counsellor and client. Feeling seen, heard and understood and being able to be yourself creates the foundation for meaningful change.
I offer a space that is calm, steady and focused on helping you make sense of what's going on beneath the surface. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, we explore your thoughts, feelings and experience together so you can begin to understand yourself more clearly and relate to yourself, your relationships and the world around you in a healthier, more balanced way.
Sessions move at your pace, with space to reflect, process and begin to see things differently over time. Creating space to slow down a busy mind, making room for clearer thinking, insight, and a greater sense of being present in the here and now.
I currently offer online counselling across the UK, via Google Meet. Providing a confidential space you can access from wherever feeld most comfortable.
I am a qualified Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP, working within its Ethical Framework. I am also fully insured.
I have over 20 years experience supporting people through life challenges and change across education, and the charity sector.
Most recently, I worked as a Team Leader/Line Manager within a charity supporting vulnerable young people and families, working alongside the NHS and multi-agency professionals in complex support settings. This has given me a grounded understanding of how life pressure, relationships and early experiences can shape emotional wellbeing and self-belief.
I continue to engage in ongoing professional development to keep my practice current, reflective and tailored to individual needs.
I also value the commitment my clients bring to the therapeutic process and trust they place in our work together.
My focus is working with men who are ready for change but feel unable to to move forward or step outside their comfort zone, or are unsure what that change looks like.
I also support adults from a range of backgrounds who are navigating emotional and life challenges.
Common difficulties people come to me for support with include:
• Low self-esteem and low confidence • Anxiety and stress • Burnout and emotional exhaustion • Pressure to cope alone or keep things together • Relationship difficulties • Work-related challenges • Grief and loss • Life transitions and change • Emotional overwhelm • Personal growth and wellbeing
